About RedYaffle
I am an avid supporter of the Open Web, Open Standards, Open Source, and Open-ness in general. I recently graduated from the University of Chicago, AB Law, Letters, and Society and a minor in Computer Science. And I’m currently researching expectations of privacy on social networks.
I have a passion for the exploration of identity, ownership, and licensing, as manifested on the internet. John McCrea used to call me ‘privacy girl,’ because of my personal views on maintaining some shred of privacy in this hyper-connected digital age. And it’s true – I don’t believe we need all live in public. In fact, I think we can move into an open and public age while maintaining the privacy so treasured by our great legal scholars in the past (see The Right to Privacy for a little inspiration).
